I stumbled on this album a few years back while trying to find some of the more obscure songs that featured the late Charizma. It's been a while since I last listened to it, but at the time I remember it being a pretty good album.

Homeliss Derilex - Bootleg
Bootleg album/compilation from one of the most underrated groups from the bay. I don't remember where I found this but I'm sure it was on another blog, so shouts out to whoever put it together.

Ayentee - My Retirement Plan Is Death
Check out the new album from Ayentee called My Retirement Plan Is Death. I haven't heard much lately from Ayentee or his crew the Secluded Journalists, but every time he drops an album it's worth hearing, and My Retirement Plan Is Death is no different. Do yourself a favor and check it out on his Bandcamp.

Til Infinity - Megabusive Interview
I've been thinking a lot about the great Megabusive interview that Etienne from Til Infinity recently posted. There's a lot of San Jose history in there which is perfect since it seems like the SJ scene has provided a lot of talented artists, but it always seems to be overlooked. As someone who isn't from SJ, I've always had a hard time learning more about the scene.
Mega also touches on some interesting points that have come up in some of my own conversations with artists including mental health, substance abuse, growing older, family, and the current state of the music business. I found it to be a very interesting read.
Check out the older interviews here.
